Greece - Telecoms Market Overview & Statistics

This new report from Paul Budde Communications introduces the key aspects of the Greek telecommunications market, together with relevant statistics and brief profiles of the major operators. Most of the market is considerably less developed than that of western European countries but penetration levels are high in the mobile sector and growth has decreased but remains healthy. Three of the operators have launched 3G services. Alternative operators are beginning to make inroads in the fixed-line sector but the incumbent OTE still dominates the market. Internet use and broadband penetration are very low although both have recently shown respectable growth levels.
