Bosnia and Herzegovina is a complex state consisting of two
entities, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika
Srpska. The General Framework Agreement for peace in Bosnia and
Herzegovina, initialed in Dayton on November 21, 1995 and signed
in Paris on December 14, 1995, specified the principles of state
and legal structure of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
