Telecommunications Market Reports
Croatia Internet, Broadband, and Convergence
- Overview & Statistics report
Internet penetration in Croatia is the highest in the Balkans region, and is
more in line with those found in the Eastern European EU countries. The ISP
market is dominated by the fixed-line incumbent, which has consolidated its
market share after acquiring the country’s second largest ISP in 2006.
Broadband penetration is rising rapidly, driven predominantly by the incumbent
which plans to use the platform to offer triple play services. Broadband
services are also available from a FttH operator, wireless ISPs and a mobile
operator targeting the fixed-line broadband market. Convergence offerings are
becoming more visible, with broadband TV (IPTV) services launched and commercial
DTTV services to commence in 2007. Drawing upon a variety of statistics and
sources, this report provides an informative insight into Croatia’s dynamic
Internet, broadband and convergence markets. See the report summary and

Croatia Key Statistics, Regulatory and
Fixed Line Telecoms Overviews
The Croatian telecoms market has been shaped by the country’s bid to join
the European Union, resulting in market liberalisation and creating a regulatory
environment conducive to competition. Consequently a number of alternative
operators have launched services and a number of licences for wireless services
awarded. This report provides a brief overview of Croatia’s regulatory
environment and developments, financial and performance data on significant
fixed-line operators, fixed-line infrastructure used to offer services as well
as infrastructure developments. See the report summary and

Croatia Mobile, Mobile Content and
Applications Overview - Statistics and Overview report
Mobile penetration in Croatia is among the highest in the region, with growth
set to continue following the entry of a low-cost operator. However, the market
is already maturing; hence the majority of subscribers are expected to come
from those of the established players. Expecting the entrance of the third
operator, both of the established operators have launched initiatives designed
to shore up their market shares, including launching new tariffs models and
introducing new services. The maturing market has also seen ARPU levels drop,
with mobile operators consequently encouraging prepaid subscribers to migrate
to higher-spending post-paid plans. 3G services have been launched, and HSDPA
services are also available. Availability of 3G is expected to increase the
desirability of mobile content services, thereby driving uptake. This report
offers a concise overview the country’s mobile market, including a variety
of financial and performance statistics on the operators. See the report summary and
